（諺）傳言也。諺傳曡韵。傳言者、古語也。古字從十口、識前言。凡經傳所偁之諺。無非前代故訓。而宋人作注乃以俗語俗諭當之。誤矣。玄應引此下有謂傳世常言也。葢庾儼黙注。从言。彥聲。魚變切。十四部。按此與尚書乃逸乃喭、論語由也喭皆訓？喭者各字。衞包改尚書之喭爲諺。大誤。
