（牢）閑也。也字今補。養牛馬圈也。充人注曰。牢、閑也。必有閑者。防禽獸觸齧。牲繫於牢。故牲謂之牢。如粊誓呼牛馬爲牿。禮呼牲爲牽也。从牛。冬省。取其四周帀。从古文冬省也。冬取完固之意。亦取四周象形。引伸之爲牢不可破。魯刀切。古音在三部。
