舂去麥皮也。从臼，干所以臿之。楚洽切

（臿）舂去麥皮也。示部䄟下曰。讀若舂麥爲㯔之㯔。臿㯔古今字也。許於說解中用今字耳。周禮廩人。大祭祀則共其接盛。接卽臿之叚借。凡穀皆得云臿也。引伸爲凡刺入之偁。如農器刺地者曰鍫臿。从臼。干聲。一曰干所㠯臿之。此依韵會所據鍇本。干聲在十四部。與十五部冣近。臿㯔字本在十五部。臿又轉入於八部。音楚洽切也。一曰干所以臿之。則爲會意。干猶杵也。
